ABOUT TAP MUN: Home to around 100 Hakka and Tanka boat people, Tap Mun is in the northereastern part of Hong Kong and is under 2sq km in size. The fishing community is an old pirate haven which once had over 5000 residents. Today, there are several temples, camping facilities, floating fish farms, a protected old school building and a lots of cows. The hike around the island is pretty flat and relaxing.
