It's looking like the NZ election on Saturday 23 September is going to be a close-run race. Just as well as, given the Aussies' recent two poor performances, we need a bit of decent competition and excitement one month ahead of the dead-rubber final Bledisloe Cup game on 21st October.
You don't have to be anywhere near NZ to vote in this year's NZ election, any NZ citizen or permanent resident can vote, and you can do it all online!
Step One: Enroll!

Do it by Friday 22 September
Step Two: Get your voting papers
Download your voting papers from Wednesday 6 September (downloadable from here after that date);
Email now to ask for your voting papers to be sent to you. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with: Full name; Date of birth; Email and/or phone number; New Zealand address where you are enrolled to vote; and Overseas address where you want your voting papers to be sent in the mail.
Step Three: Send your voting papers in
Upload your voting papers (scans or photos) after 6 September (uploadable to here after that date); or
Fax your voting papers to: +64 4 494 2300
Upload or fax your voting papers anytime after you have got them, but by 3pm HK Time Saturday 23 September.
Election Day: Saturday 23 September.
