Introduction

The New  Zealand Society of Hong Kong has been active since 1957 and aims to promote contacts between New Zealanders living in Hong Kong and those people interested in New Zealand.

Society Objectives

  • To further encourage the interests of New Zealand and to promote and encourage fellowship among New Zealanders who reside in Hong Kong and Members of the Society.
  • To promote and hold social and cultural activities such as the Children's Christmas Party, Waitangi Day event, an ANZAC day parade etc, either alone or jointly with other societies, clubs or persons, for the benefit of the Members of the Society.
  • To promote the observances of national occasions and entertainment of prominent New Zealanders or groups of New Zealanders who may be visiting Hong Kong.
  • To carry out fund-raising activities and/or to donate the proceeds arising therefrom to such charitable organizations and for the benefit of the Society as may be proposed by the Committee.

Benefits

A regular electronic newsletter called E-Newz is published bi-monthly by the Society and contains information about the Society's activities, products and services of interest to New Zealanders including special offers for Members. In addition to E-Newz, there are a number of functions and events held by the Society as outlined in the Society's Objectives.

KonnectioNZ

KonnectioNZ (which is open to all New Zealanders living in Hong Kong and their guests) meets monthly, usually on the LAST FRIDAY of every month (check the Eventz section for any changes to the date).
